Joshua for short

is an aspiring flamenco guitarist based in the Pacific Northwest, blending over a decade of dedicated study with the soul of live performance. He began the journey into flamenco in 2013, captivated by its rhythmic complexity, emotional depth, and cultural richness. Since then, he has committed himself to a near-daily practice routine, constantly pushing to honor and evolve within this beautiful tradition.

Though flamenco guitar is the primary artistic focus, he is no stranger to the stage—having been a professional bass player for over 20 years, currently performing with one of the region’s most sought-after local bands, The Shy Boys & a Girl. His broad musical background helps shape a dynamic, expressive approach to flamenco that resonates with both traditionalists and newcomers alike.

Now performing at intimate venues, private events, and special occasions—crafting unforgettable musical experiences that elevate the moment. Whether it’s the fiery rasgueados of a soleá or the meditative beauty of a bulería, his goal is always the same: to move the listener and make the music feel alive.

In addition to performing, he runs his business Let Them Hear, as an experienced audio engineer and integrator, which gives him a deep understanding of how to bring music to life not just on stage, but through sound itself.
